Hello I have been a hair stylist for 18 years. I have been an owner/stylist of three hair salons. The first in White Plains NY and the other two in NJ in my home town at the time in Pompton Lakes. I am not new to this art. Now relocated to Boca Raton I began serving customers in the Boca Raton area and surrounding localities. I'm able to accommodate customers around their busy schedules. In addition to styling, cuts, and color I specialize in Keratin and also Brazilian Knot Hair Extensions. I enjoying making my clients feel comfortable and feeling like a million dollars when the walk out the door. I typically analyze the persons hair. Then I ask what they would like done and give my professional opinion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Roman Beauty Academy in NJ is where I obtained by license. I have had many courses and training throughout the years. I have many certifications available upon request.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I work with the customer on a individual basis. Some clients require more work and some less. Depend upon the services rendered.
How did you get started in this business?
My mother was a hair stylist and salon owner and I followed in her footsteps.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers. Being a stylist you must be versatile.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I worked with a client who had black hair for many years. Sometimes she used box color which is very hard to lighten up. This customer wanted to become a brunette with highlights. I was very pleased with the results along with my customer. She looks so 10 years younger and was never happier.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would recommend that the customer speak with the stylist in person for a consultation. Ask questions and advice and look at pictures of their work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They should think of the final look they would like, how to maintain that look, and also the cost to keep up with the look.
