Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with the consultation. Once we understand what our client is looking for we do our very best to deliver.
Whether it is a color and hair cut, finding the right wig or hair addition, or even scalp treatments to regenerate your own hair, our stylists listen to your needs.
Since we have so many wigs and hairpieces in stock, many of our clients leave with theirs the same day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to being licensed cosmetologists, our stylists have additional training in hair loss solutions. We offer treatments and products to regenerate your own hair as well as wigs and toppers to give you your confidence back.
How did you get started in this business?
A hair stylist since 1978, LaDonna began to see the need for hair loss solutions for her clients. In 2004 she attended the Hair Academy to learn all methods of hair rejuvenation.
LaDonna began offering hair loss solutions in her salon and has become well known as a hair loss expert.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with many people undergoing cancer treatments, people of all ages with trichotillomania, as well as those who have age and medical related hair loss.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently a client published a Google review about our appointment from a few years ago.
She called at the end of the day. The salon was closed but when she told me her hair was falling out due to her chemo treatments I said I would stay late for her. She was so upset about her hair loss.
I waited for her to drive clear across town.
We buzzed what was left of her hair and found the perfect wig for her. I helped her feel better on what she said was "the worst day of her life".
Events like that made my job worthwhile.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There are different types and qualities of hair replacement options. Find a trusted professional to help guide you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If this is a medical hair loss situation, is it a permanent or temporary situation. You may want to have a medical check up and blood work to know for sure.
