Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You get personal attention from the beginning to the end. I scaled down my business to make sure every client is 100% happy with the final product and enjoyed the whole experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography is my passion since I was 10 years old. I've studied in colleges and took numerous seminars from world top photographers but nothing beats real world experience. I let my consistency and quality speak for itself.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No job is too big or too small. The price will vary depending on time, location, traveling, and equipment. I offer a free consultation to help me understand your vision.
In 2020-21 I give a special rate at $200 per hour that already includes all the edited images and a download link.
The payment is split into 3 parts. 25% Deposit, 50% Day Of the Shoot, and 25% when you ready to download. All types of payments are accepted through the website or cash in person.
How did you get started in this business?
I was fortunate enough to work with many top New York photographers as an assistant when I first started back in 1990. Eventually, I was hired by Regency Studios full-time and was responsible for the post-production of over 100 weddings per year. In 2004 I finally branched out and opened my own studio that grew from a one-man army to 10 full-time employees. In 2016 I met my now wife in Miami and moved to Sunny Florida. Starting over is a humbling experience but I believe my 20+ years of experience will speak for itself.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of my business is weddings and engagements but in 20+ years I've photographed everything you can imagine. Portraits, Headshots, Pregnancy, Buduaar, Fashion, Commercial, Product, Food, Real Estate, and more.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Every chance I get to photograph people and create special moments for them to remember makes my life worth living knowing that my creativity will be appreciated in years to come. It's always an emotional experience and I feel blessed to do what I love.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Every photographer would have a certain style that he/she favors but at the end of the day we are here to provide a service that our clients want. Besides quality images in the portfolio, I think it's important to connect, have a conversation, and be comfortable knowing that the photographer understands your vision.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. Preferably client should pick a Date, Time, and a Location prior to contacting us. We can most definitely give suggestions on location but we have to make sure that we will be available first.
2. Share as many details as possible with your photographer. Chances are we dealt with a similar situation and will be able to give suggestions and navigate you through the process.
3. Tell us what style you prefer. Candid and Natural is a different set up as Traditional. Do you like light images or more dramatic with shadows? I think it's important to communicate your vision to your photographer, prior to the photoshoot, so we are both on the same page.
