About
I love capturing the essence of a person. Sometimes it takes a few tries but when we hit that sweet spot and I see the person the want to be seen I their shots it's very rewarding.
I've worked with performers, having been one myself, for over 30 years and have taken countless head shots of dancers and singers and actors.
My specialty is dance photography as I used to be a dancer and therefor have a complete understanding of that discipline and how to capture it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to chat a little first, break the ice. I keep things very relaxed and fun especially for those not overly used to being in front of the camera.
A photo shoot should be fun and interesting. Getting to the person I'm photographing is important so I can bring out their personality as much as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at the New York Institute of Photography in Professional Photography
I've also spent years on board cruise ships traveling the world taking photos of everything from dance shows to scenic shots to performer head shots to corporate headquarter formal shoots.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Usually $50 an hour
How did you get started in this business?
I was a performer for many years and I never got good shots of any of the shows I was in. Once I became a show director I began taking photos of the kids in the shows and my love of photography bloomed from there.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Literally everyone from experienced models/performers to first time in front of a camera people.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I did the shots for a pair of young women for their blog about living life as much as possible.
It was really great because they wanted to show their list for life so we just shot and shot all day.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Keep it simple. That's the absolute key to successful photographs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Know exactly what kind of mood/vibe you are looking for and let your photographer know that.
