Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will allow up to 30 min for a consultation on the new guest hair goals, current regimen and possible new regimen as well as hair product talk. This is done before any services are done. Once the services(s) are complete, the guest will pre book for their next appointment. Usually a week or so after the guests sees me I will do a follow up call to check on the hair and if the quest have any questions or concerns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continued education and workshops in the Redken and Mateix color series. Also various classes in natural hair textures and styling techniques.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Most of my chemical services are quoted as “starting at $$”. This is because I need to see the hair and make a fair price quote. Additional fees may apply depending on length and thickness of the hair.
How did you get started in this business?
My sisters and I are all professional cosmetologist so..it’s in the blood! ☺️
What types of customers have you worked with?
My guest book is very diverse. I work with guest with the finest of hair to the curliest of tresses!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would make sure that your future stylist gives you a platform to ask as many questions as possible. Also, make sure your stylist makes you feel comfortable, they are convenient for you to travel to and within your financial price point.
