I shoot with a purpose. We plan first, then shoot. This always gives great results when we have intention opposed to just showing up. I am very passionate about my work and bringing a client's vision to life.
I enjoy helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera, bring out their true inner self, and personality that know one necessarily sees on a daily basis. Finding a connection with your subjects is key to sharing someone's soul.

How did you get started in this business?
Started as a hobby since I was a teenager, shelf my creative side for decades after Parent shut it down, then I asked a friend to take her team's photos at NYFW, and I started a professional career shortly after. Full circle.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently toured with four internationally-known chefs from New Orleans. All of them were feaured or had their own show on the Food Network. I was asked to capture them in the kitchen, behind the scenes, including the event and attendees.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I am a advocate of planning prior to a shoot. I get my best results. I don't just show up for the job without doing my homework which includes prework and scouting the location. I like to set expectations and get to know my clients, in advance. I would encourage clients to ask a photographer about their workflow before and after a photoshoot. That will help them understand more about their experience.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Definitely think about vision and outcome of the shoot. A mood board should be presented to understand inspiration or current state versus future state. Share what you didn't like about prior photoshoots or if it's your first one ask photographer to walk through their workflow to set expectations.
