I like to think of myself as the eccentric aunt with the best shoulder to lean on or an ear for listening! I strive for the best service experience and as a stickler for quality I only want to be associated with it. I want to provide an experience that just at the thought of it brings a smile to your face. I want to provide affordable service with upscale quality because we all deserve a bit of the "finer" things, right?! ❤️

I enjoy meeting new people and bringing their culinary event visions to life! I love learning about new techniques and how I can implement them in my work. I've been in this field over 10 years and one thing I do know is that it will be forever learning and growing! That's why I pride myself on staying up to date with my certifications and equipment. I don't consider what I do "work" ...it's my lifestyle!

Yoshi’s Choice provides the perfect balance of presentation and flavor. You are greeted with the personal touch of a small business with a card from the chef. Further in the bag reveals the main treat of the portion sizes. Large salads and packed sandwiches. It appears entire packages of meat were used in a single sandwich. My personal favorite, the spice pallet, is nearly too large to fit in my mouth. I have a dainty mouth, so I have to take off the tomato. Without that alteration, I worry that my mouth will become enlarged like a snake. After eating the sandwich, my mouth hangs limply loose….---but satisfied!

I usually don’t do reviews unless the experience is gray or exceptionally bad. I usually get the jerk salad with spicy ranch and a extra egg. I’m definitely not a salad person but the quality of this salad is on another level in my opinion. So much that I almost order it weekly. I would say the thing that really stands out is the level of quality from the chicken itself to the lettuce used. I have put this salad in the fridge (without dressing) and still tasted just as fresh 24 hrs later. I’m looking forward to trying new things on the menu and any expansion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

First and foremost, the level of professionalism and quality of product. I’ve purchased several items so far, “The Jerk Salad” being my favorite.

The food came with a handwritten thank you note. I loved the personal touch. Just made me feel special.

The Purple Sweet Potato Pie, of which I had never had before, tasted amazing and is a great alternative to traditional sweet potato pie as it has a lower glycemic index so it doesn’t spike your blood sugar as hard.

I could say more, but I digress...

Thank you Yoshi for your creative menu selection and awesome tasting foods, and the thank you note.

Once contact has been made, I briefly go over my services per the requirements desired by a patron via whatever website I was contacted on, email or phone along with a price quote. Then we go from there!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Bachelors in Culinary Arts/ Culinary Management from Le Cordon Bleu (Chicago) and ongoing certifications pertaining to my field of work. SERVSAFE CERTIFIED as well.

I've always been drawn to the Kitchen...it's something that has been in my family for years!!

Ask a ton of questions!!! Have a menu in mind...etc.
