Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer is first consulting with her/him about any concerns and understanding the history of the hair. After, I will observe the hair, give recommendations, and suggest a hairstyle if necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a liscensed cosmetologist who has over 25 years experience in hair. With continued education from Matrix and Nick Berardi knowledge in the hair industry is definitely a revolving cycle.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All pricing is as quoted unless during the process extra methods needs to be taken. For example detangling, Treatment for scalp, etc....
How did you get started in this business?
From styling family members to friends my passion began. I started braiding hair then became intrigued with cuts and extensions. From there I begun working with Top Salons on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
What types of customers have you worked with?
With my skills, I have had the pleasure with working with models, local artist, and Hair Magazines.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event that I am fond of will have to go to my best friend for years wedding. Simply Beautiful!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The one most important advice I can give a customer looking for pro is if they are unable to answer all questions or concerns you have or provide the service you or interested in receiving, DO NOT HIRE THEM!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should be honest to themselves and the Pro about the needs for their hair. Concentrating on the health and condition of their hair. Once you have the problem solving it should be the only next task. Healthy hair gives you a satisfied customer and happy Cosmetologist.
