Nicki has specializedi in newborn photography since 1999. She is lovingly referred to as "The Baby Whisperer". Nicki has a true passion for both photography and babies and it shows in every aspect of her work. Working with Nicki you will feel comfortable in knowing that she has the knowledge and experience to not just create and capture beautiful portraits of your baby but also to safely pose and care for your new little bundle of joy.

I love capturing moments in time and creating memories that you will have have to look back on and cherish. I build amazing relationships with my clients where I have been able to watch so many of them grow up and i even have clients whose photos I have taken from newborn all the way through to their high school senior portraits. I am blessed to meet so many wonderful people and to continue doing what I live and have a passion for.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For newborn clients it is best to schedule 8-12 weeks before your due date; We pencil in the session based on your due date- We can always adjust it later if baby comes early/late but this secures your session. The newborns are best when photographed between 5-15 days. Onces sceduled for nay session, you will receive a questionnaire to help me in customizing your sessioon just for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a certificate in commercial photography in 1999. I interened and trsained with an amazing baby/family photographer wile in school and for a few years after becofre goin out on my own I have taken numerouos courses both online and in person to perfect my sckills. I have won several awars includeing Local 10's Top ten, Nickelodeons Parents Pick, and many others.
I offer mentoring sessions as well to photographers looking to improve on theire newborn photography.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing structure is based on a session fee; Depending on the session type or package you are choosing. The session fee is usually seperate from any prints or digital files. However, Some of my packages do include prints or files. All the details and different packages can be found here:

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I highly reccomend checking out any photograher that you are looking to hire thouroghly. Especially when it comes to your newborn. I know there are a lot of choices out there and many amazing photographers. These images are a once in a lifetime chance for this baby- They will never be that tiny again. Be sure you hire the photogrpaher that is right for you. I would love to talk to you about your session and create the perfect custom session that is just for you!
