Terminé de ver el álbum y cada cuadro, cada instante, cada ruptura temporal, cada arista sorprendente , por decir lo menos, me hicieron vibrar. Tu mirada exquisita, aguda, sensible para captar la esencia del momento, me invita a escribir algo más que este mensaje de reconocimiento a tu espléndido trabajo. When I got engaged, both my fiancé and I knew, I was about to start a serious wedding photographer hunt down. I’ve always been into photography and I really think it’s a shame to have a bunch of fake and boring pictures as the only way to remember a beautiful wedding. I had shared this thought with my fiancé several times in the past, so when the time came to distribute responsibilities for our wedding, finding a photographer was at the top of MY list. I even told him that if the photographer I chose was out of our budget, I would find a way to pay for it myself, but I refused to be another bride with an amazing wedding and “ordinary” pictures to remember it with. Our wedding planner showed me among many other pictures, the most creative and beautiful wedding pictures I had come across with, all with the watermark Juan Carlos Madrigal. As soon as I got home I googled him and totally fell for his pictures! I immediately got in contact with JC via email and then talked over the phone. We met Juan Carlos at our casual shoot, he made us stand in places we would have never considered would make a good background and made me walk though puddles in high heels. Once we saw the pictures we were amazed with the results. The angles and expressions he captured convinced me that he really has an amazing eye! . I really can’t begin to tell you how amazing it was to have Juan Carlos at my wedding. He didn’t only made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera all the time, but our friends and families as well because he made friends with everybody while taking pictures of us getting ready. As a result, everybody looks natural and relaxed in the pictures, because they all enjoyed having JC around. He really made us feel as if our wedding was as special for him as it was for us, he stopped the traffic to get a few shot of us walking down the street, shot every detail of the wedding, he even brought a second shooter free of charge when we had only agreed to pay for one. He was excellent overall. Pictures really exceeded our expectations. It’s amazing how JC can make us not only travel in time back to our wedding day, but he also managed to make us feel the butterflies and the nervousness that we felt that day once more! I can’t say enough about Juan Carlos and his work, just that having him as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made, it was worth every cent and we will be forever grateful for the memories he captured though his lens. When searching for a wedding photographer in Mexico, I had a very difficult time finding someone that I thought could provide the specific style of photography I was looking for. I wanted a photographer that would be able to provide something much different from your standard/traditional wedding photos. I wanted a photographer with a strong sense of style who had a modern approach. The photographer I was looking for needed to be able to create truly natural poses and have a keen understanding for how to use light to enhance the look of a photo. I wanted someone who could visually tell the story of our wedding and the town it took place in. My vision was so specific that I even created a photography Pinterest page just to make sure I could best communicate exactly what I wanted. As soon as I came across Juan Carlos’s website, I knew I had finally found the wedding photographer I had hoped for and signed up with him immediately. On our wedding day Juan Carlos immediately put us at ease on what could have been a stressful day, He is so personable and easy to be with that you almost feel like you are with a friend that you have known for years. At the same time, he is also extremely professional and worked strategically and efficiently in order to get all of the best photos from the day. The results were nothing short of amazing. He not only delivered exactly what I was looking for, but completely exceeded my already very high expectations. Every time I show the photos to others they are astonished at the high quality and skill level. Juan Carlos told the story of our day so well that the photos make those that could not be at the wedding feel as if they were. His photos are an absolute perfect reminder of our special day that will be cherished for all of our years to come. I am truly grateful.

My husband and I live in NYC, so planning a destination wedding 3,000 miles away was not an easy task. While searching for wedding photographers I asked my wedding planner to put me in touch with the BEST photographer in Mexico, so naturally he introduced me to Juan Carlos. Jeronimo, my wedding planner, advised me to pick my wedding photographer not only based on his job; but also on the photographer’s personality. He said, and I quote “you are going to have this guy following you for 3 whole days, so you have to like him”. When Juan Carlos and I met via Skype, I was hooked right away. He totally understood my “NO CORNY PICTURES” concept, and not only did he understand it, but he took it to a next level.

Juan Carlos literally followed me for 3 whole days in San Miguel de Allende, and boy am I happy to have picked him as our wedding photographer. Not only is he a true professional and has an incredible eye for photography; but he is an amazing person who made me and my guests feel super comfortable the whole time.

Juan Carlos, Tyler & I can’t thank you enough. You will forever be an important part of our lives and we can’t wait to be able to use you again. Our photos capture moments and memories and are so much more than we could have envisioned. Thank you for being such an important part of the start of our lives together. Thank you!
