Cravin' Flava

About

"Using the food as a way of creating a memorable experience." Cooking has always been my passion. I use it as a way to express myself. I'm not new to the game and I love working with people. Through the industry I get to showcase my talents and interact and meet knew people who I continue to learn from each day.

What I enjoy the most is seeing the satisfaction on a customers face once they have gotten an amazing plate of food. Their satisfactions brings me joy meaning I did my job right.

My experience was amazing. The food was exquisite and well prepared. The flavor and visual design of the food was better than I’ve seen from most chefs.

    Frequently asked questions

There really isn't a process. New customers open doors to other potential customers. My process is used to make them as comfortable and satisfied as possible. I tend to find out all the details so that whatever event is being planned can go as smoothly as possible.

I have an Associates and Bachelors degree in Culinary Arts.
Currently I am studying to get my Bachelor's in Hospitality and Tourism Mgmt.

No I don't have a standard pricing. The pricing is based on what the client would like and need.

It is just something I have always wanted to do. On my free time I do sales under the name Jay's Kitchen. For bigger caterings and Private chefs I work with Isaacs Private Chefs to bring you all an amazing experience through cooking.

Customers I've worked with are mainly locals. Most of the time, it's just a quick meal that they are seeking that keeps them coming back for more.

Recently I catered a wedding with my partner. It went really well. It was right in my area of expertise, Caribbean food. From this event we got several people who wanted to also taste our food and booked us for events. Don't hesitate to check out the page Isaacs Private Chefs.

Be open minded. Sometimes your mind is set on one thing but the chef goes a different route. Most of the time he's either trying to help you save some money, help you get the most out of your money or he thinks this may suite you better. 9 times out of 10 the customer ends up liking the chefs idea.

    1. When talking about food, especially if you're on a budget, always ask if there are alternatives to what your looking for.
    2. When is the event and what time. These two questions are pertinent to connecting with someone in this field. There are so much events happening around the same time that you have to be able to come with all the details or you lose the chef.
