Photographic Images, LLC
About
My experience ranges from film to digital imaging. I know the rules of professional photography and know when to break them. My photographs should still be important many years from now, whether I am showing a portrait, an event or a business. Details are important to me, if they help me to enhance the appeal of the photograph and if they flatter my subject. Inspiration often comes from my clients. Exploring what they are looking for and how the photograph will be used, gives me ideas on how to execute the photoshoot.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First contact is usually by phone or e-mail. We ask what they are looking for and send them suggestions and pricelist and inform them of our process from photography to finished work. Either I, or my assistant will be in contact with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for a professional photographer in Upstate NY for 7 years and have been in business in Florida for over 30 years.
I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, where I earned the Master of Photography designation and also earned Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence from Florida Professional Photographers, Assn. I am past president of Bay Professional Photographers, Assn. and believe in ongoing education which I still continue.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, we have standard pricelists for the following services;
family portraits
business portraits
weddings and events
copy and restoration
How did you get started in this business?
We had a photolab in high school and my art teacher was also in charge of it, so I enlisted. I painted a lot, especially portraits and I found photography to be faster. Also, I like enhancing photographs, which I used to do by hand and now digitally. I got a job working for a photographer in Upstate, NY, and started with photo retouching and lab work, developing and printing color and black and white, then learned photography and took many seminars.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have and still am working with families, individuals, corporations and many local businesses as well as clubs. I have photographed 3 of Florida's governors and some other famous personalities. People are people and I photograph them as who they are as a person. With photographing products, I keep the end user in mind.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just photographed the destination wedding of a couple from Nebraska. They got married here at Palm Island Resort and brought many of their relatives and friends with them to share this special time. We had a beautiful sunset and it was very romantic. Another event was a social party of a yacht club and I did candid photographs as well as member portraits for their directory.
