Frequently asked questions

Everything starts with a consultation and a skin, hair and scalp analysis.

I have 16 years experience in ALL hair textures. I have been certified by Design Essentials, Redken, & Diva Curl. 8 years as a Certified Makeup Artist, 12 years an esthetician, 10 years of eyelash application experience and Eyelash Extension Certified as of 2020.

I have naturally long, thick, and coarse hair and as a kid every time I was at the salon with my mother the ladies would rant and rave about my hair. When I became a teenager and would go alone I would have to endure the endless complaining about having too much hair, I was overcharged because of length and density and then under serviced for the same reason, but most importantly they would snatch my entire Saturday(no matter what time I got there) because they felt the other adults were more important.  I worked too hard for the weekend(as a teenager) to only waste it in a salon or in church so I started watching the ladies and what they used. I started doing my own hair, then a friend's, then family, then off to college and turned it into a dorm room business, I did the same thing in the military (even in Iraq), and when my husband and I were expecting I discharged from the military, and pursued Cosmetology.
