What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe in consulting with clients even if just by phone. I ask for pics of their hair in current state and examples of what they desire. It is the best way to access what they have versus what the desired outcome is. That why I can prepare everything needed to make it a reality.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive training in hair care, especially textured and curly hair. Chemical processing, coloring, and cutting, and maintenance products specifically addressing the needs of curly, coiled, and kinky hair. I am an Avlon Educator and have been hired the last 15 years to educate for corporate salons JCPenney, Dillard's, and Fantasic Sam's.

What types of customers have you worked with?
ALL TYPES! From children, business professionals, to celebrities. There are only 3 types of hair: straight, wavy, curly and I service them all. Hair is hair.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Read their reviews then consult with them, even if by phone, before scheduling a service. Make sure they are a match for your needs in both expertise and energy.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What the desired outcome looks like. Have pictures for reference so the stylist see your true vision. Also, be open to the reality that your hair may or may not be able to achieve that look. A great stylist will tell you that and then discuss other possible options.
