What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- Initial phone conversations to discuss their wants and needs
- Provide preparation documentation guide for the day of the photo event
- When they arrive review style and for the photos
- Coaching on expression and confidence. Discuss stands, position, etc.
- Take a few burner photos so that the client sees what I see and what we need to correct.
- Photography the first outfit in different positions, review the photos, and select the ones that the client best like
- Change outfits and repeat the above process.
- Final review of the images selected to ensure these are the image the client wants.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- I graduated from the New York Institute of Photography
- I have taken several certificate courses at Unique Photos, B&H Video, and Adorama.
- I have mentored under John Richard (Former BET Photographer), Larry Leone, Rick Gerrity, and John Bodensiek
- I am an Associate in the Peter Hurley Headshot Crew. I have taken Peter Hurley's Intensive and Intensified courses. As well as a premium member to advance retouching and business skills.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Currently, my pricing is as follows:
- In-Studio Session - 2 hours - $225, and $85 per selected image, naturally retouched.
- On-Location Session - 4 hours - $1000, and $85 per selected image, naturally retouched.
How did you get started in this business?
I started as a hobbyist and built my skill, by attending NYIP and learning from Peter Hurley so that I could launch my own photography business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
- Executives, models, professionals, and people that want to start a career. A wide gamut of clients and professionals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
- The HeadshotCrew Intensive (I have taken it 4 times) 2022. Peter beats us up to get our color right to get our shooting methods correct. He keeps pushing himself, which in turn pushes us to do better, to be better every day. Love it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
- Do you research
- Be specific about what you want and need
- Speak up during the session, tell the photographer what you are seeing
- Most importantly listen to the instructions provided by the photographer.

- What is the turnaround time for the images?
- How much preparation should I do?
