Getting to know the Client’s needs and wants and expectation .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Inspired to develop his inspiration into craft, he earned a Chef’s Certification from Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham. There he learned to meld classic French technique with Southern styles of cookery.
How did you get started in this business?
Though Glenn went to earn degrees in biology and chemistry from Alcorn State University in Lorman, Miss., nurturing ambitions of becoming a doctor, that Bewitched memory kept haunting him. There was magic in food.
What types of customers have you worked with?
He has hosted numerous celebrities and dignitaries during their visits to Birmingham. He has cooked for former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, President George H.W. Bush, comedian Bill Cosby, pop/country singer-songwriter K.D. Lang, and Auburn and NBA star Charles Barkley, who is also Glenn’s cousin.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Oh my it’s just so many, but this one particular event it was retirement event and I had to revamp the intire place . I had to bring in tables, high boy tables,table Lenin and even a dance floor,ice sculpture,flowers, I had to do all the flower arrangements. I must say the client was very happy and pleased.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
look for the quality of that person and their food.
