Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We interview over the phone, offering a 60 min. consultation free of charge. After getting needed info such as things desired, we offer to set a date and time to meet in person. We bring with us our plans, ideas, materials, and of course our contracts. After our meeting, and contract signing we give our new clients 72 hrs. to change their minds. After the 72 hrs. Our team begins to ripple the water.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a retired nurse. I started event planning while in the military as a nurse. My daughter was getting married and she asked me to help plan this magical event, and I have been planning ever since. I have planned events, such as personal dinners for two - four persons, children's parties, graduations, retirements, and weddings. I have experience in marketing, color and fabric coordination, and some experience with floral display.

How did you get started in this business?
I simply enjoy entertaining. I love to cook, decorate, and have fun. I started with my daughters wedding. I enjoyed creating her dream. After some pushing from my family I started this small business. We are family owned, and family connected.
What types of customers have you worked with?
In the past I have worked with co-workers, referrals, events at local FedEx offices, and personal events for Family and friends.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Via a referral, I planned an event for a young woman of the age of 66yrs. After several consultations, we decided on a theme called Pretty-n-Pink. Every item was a shade of pink, with hints of gold. She enjoyed it, and her family thought it was awesome.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for respect, honesty, priority, a willingness to engage in conversation, explanations, and most of all allowing the clients sometime to think and decide. After all, Rome was not built in a day.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The most important thing is cost. Anyone can throw a party, but you are looking for that great event, planning, time, and comparing companies cost. Review your plan and budget. Then make that great choice.
