What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's important to set a tone of respect and performance expectations. Doing so will help to eliminate any misunderstandings or miscommunications. The goal is to meet the client's needs whether he or she is new or an existing client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my photography journey in early 2000 by enrolling in a course of study, which led to additional workshops and seminars to learn as much as possible over the years. Subsequently, I taught photography and journalism in high school, whereby I garnered more techniques to share with my students, plus I learned some cool techniques from my students! There's always more to learn and with the photography industry being so dynamic, one must stay abreast of the latest technology.

The most recent event that brings fond memories is spending time and relaxing with family.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for the photographer's passion for his/her work, attention to details, and his/her integrity in dealing with clients. If there's no passion, lack of details, or integrity, clients should seek a photographer who embodies these characteristics.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Clients should consider their overall objectives for their photoshoot. What type of mood? What type of clothing should be worn? Time of day? Inside or outside? Types of poses? Budget constraints? Delivery of photos? The list can be endless but a good photographer will guide you through these questions and will prompt you with others to consider.
