About this pro

My name is Terra, founder and owner of TwoSons. With TwoSons we capture the moment, the emotion, and the memory.
I am an on location photographer with my own portable studio, and several backdrops in stock to chose from. I do not mind breaks as needed to comfort, or change your little ones. I welcome outfit changes and yes depending on time will even do two backdrops in your shoot.
I give special thanks to all my models and the people I worked so close with. I have done events like family reunions, memorials, Christmas photos, birthday photos, graduation, head shots, and new born photography.
Please if your in need of a photographer contact me and let me capture your forever moments
Please visit my website at twosonsphotos.weebly.com

I love capturing the memories, and also for return customers seeing the family grow. The children grow and how they changed and to capture that again.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My father was a photographer for 30 years I learned a lot from him. He passed away in 2008 and a year later I got a job working at a camera store. With this company I was able to learn a lot. I sold cameras and camera equipment. I developed 135mm film, restored old photographs, and learned alot about portrait photography. I got the push I needed from them, the rest was self thought.

How did you get started in this business?

I learned a lot from working at the camera store, And one day I picked up a camera and started taking pictures. It was really comforting seeing the world from a different perspective and I fell in love with that. It was time to apply what my father had taught me and what I learned at the store and put my own artistic feel to it.

I wanted to become a photographer in not only capture something the capture everything, the feeling, the emotion, the expression, the soul. My husband bought my first camera and I started off with family and friends who also saw my talent. They told their friends and I blossomed ever since. I started in 2013 and have thrived since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with children mainly, some with special needs. I have experience in head shots and group portraits. I have done events like family reunions, showmens rest and icingsmiles.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Woodlawn cemetery has a section in it for clowns. It was a train wreck that happened and all that passed away is barred in the cemetery. There is a group called showmans rest, that for a period of time, did a ceremony at the cemetery to remember all that passed, to also celebrate their life and how much these people brought joy to everyone. I was the event photographer for three years and to see such a celebration in a cemetery was such an amazing experience.
