Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically after first contact, I send them all info they need, pricing, photos, etc. We discuss their needs and I produce a contract for signing along with recieving retainer fee to hold date. We keep in contact up until that date, on session date, I provide services we had discussed and recieve remainder if payment in full, unless it is a wedding. I do things with the remainder due a little different. I set up a monthly payment plan until paid in full, unless customer prefers to pay in full up front. Weddings are a little more detailed as far as services rendered and we will discuss all of the customers needs and wants prior to the big day!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken several online courses. Also youtube has been my friend! Of course many many sessions..as they say, practice makes perfect! Although I am not perfect, I feel like my work is very nice and I hope you enjoy it too!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Depending on the type of photography. I have several prices
How did you get started in this business?
I have always had a love for photography. One day I had the opportunity to purchase a camera and lenses, and so it began!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Every type!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Oh my goodness. I have been fond of every single event or session! I love people I get to work with! Each and every one of them!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Honestly, I would say that cheaper isn't always better. I understand that every customer has a budget and every photographer has to start somewhere. But especially if youre looking for professional pictures, whether it be wedding, family or something else, you want the best. You want to love your pictures! I can say that my prices are fairly reasonable to get great work at a decent price. But I'm priced for my experience and work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It depends on the type of session they're looking for. Weddings would require a lot more questions than a regular portrait session
