About
I want to always capture the individual's personality in the shots, not just pose them in a standard pose and shoot. I want to know what they like, what they don't, and make their photos personal. I want my clients to say "That's me" in their images, not just see themselves in a canned pose or setting.
I don't mind driving to a photoshoot so distance isn't a big deal to me. People are always more comfortable in their own environment so I don't usually mind going to a client to help keep their comfort level high.
Oh, I love seeing the looks on peoples' faces when they see how great they can look in professional photos. Most people aren't used to being photographed so there is apprehension. I like to see the concern melt away as they see how great we've made them look together.
It's a real passion of mine to capture a scene or a look or an expression that's beautiful/interesting/captivating in the moment and create an image that holds it in our memory forever.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They message me and tell me what they want. I respond and we figure out location, rate, goals for the shoot to make sure we understand each other. Then I get information about them to personalize the shoot to their personality, interests, desires, whatever. Then we meet and make some amazing images.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nothing formal, but years of experience. I've been "into" photography for over 30 years but have been focusing on fashion and glamour images since 2015 or so. Now wanting to branch out into more traditional portraiture, family photos, boudoir, graduation, senior photo, and other casual shots.
