Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free full consultation of any services that client would be interested in. From there I'll answer any questions about prices and schedule an appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Michiana Beauty College for my cosmetology license! My first salon I worked at for 3 years to gain my clientele enough to move to booth rent in order to do things my way!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do have a standard pricing, but I also love to do hair so I can negotiate my price. So I have a referal program that I use with clients that remain loyal to me! I also do free consultations when it comes to color services!
How did you get started in this business?
I started at regency beauty institute which unfortunately filed bankrupcty while I was in school, so I transferred to Michiana Beauty College where I had to start all over, which seemed unfair at first. After graduating I was happy that I was in school for longer than most because I felt like I was given more education than most stylists!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with many clients. I have worked with all ages of many cultures.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
That's what a consultation is for, so if the client isn't sure of what they looking for then I can help them figure that out by asking those questions for them.
Questions like: What does the client currently not like about their hair or how would they change it?
What haircuts did you like in the past and why?
Are you wanting something with little to no maintence or do you not mind maintence?
What length do feel most comfortable with?
What don't you like about your color at the very moment?
What is your current budget that your willing to spend?
And so on....
