My name is Shaunté and I love working with people and have a passion for working with hair, nails, and skin. I have been doing hair for over 20 years. I am received my Cosmetology Certification from Paul Mitchell the School in Overland Park were I graduated top of my class. I became a Certified Cosmetology Instructor in 2017 at Paul Mitchell the School. I do All types of hair!
My passion is working with all types of hair but specializing in “Natural Hair Care.” I want to help my clients gain and maintain healthy hair. We will work together as a team to get a healthy hair regimen from the shop to the client’s home. My goal is to help you “Embrace The Real You!” To encourage the confidence to be happy in your own hair while using natural and organic hair care products.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a new client is getting a chemical service such as color, lightener or a relaxer they must first have a consultation. At the time of booking any chemical service a deposit of $50 must be cash app to: $ShaunteCoppage or google pay to: [email protected]

I became a Certified Cosmetology Instructor in 2017 at Paul Mitchell the School. I am a Certified Texture Specialist, Alexandria Sugaring Hair Removal Specialist, and an Aqua Tape-in Specialist.

How did you get started in this business?
I've been doing hair most of my life. Once completing college and being in Corporate America, I got married, started having kids and wanted a profession that would work around my family. I went to cosmetology school, got license and start my cosmetology journey.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of clients. Different races, different hair types and I love it! When I became a cosmetology instructor at Paul Mitchell the School, taught the students how to embrace all customers and all hair. I also became a Certified Texture Specialist.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy doing wedding parties. Fashion Shows and Photo Shoots.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would tell a client, to go to someone that's going to value you and your hair. That when you walk through the doors of a beauty salon you feel like you're the most important person to that stylist and that you can achieve your future hair goals.
