I love the challenge of creating a relaxed atmosphere which in turn causes my clients to relax resulting in high quality pictures.
I have worked with a large family which was a lot of fun and very challenging due to the dynamics of working with such a large group and a wide age range all the way from 4 to grandpa and grandma.
I have also worked with a couple of families of 5 on separate occasions, and a guy by himself.
Each of these have presented their challenges, it is so rewarding to present the finished product to the client and see the smiles as they are viewing the pictures.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get to know the client, have a thorough understanding of the clients goals, expectations, and budget. Leave nothing to chance, walk away knowing that the client has a thorough understanding of the process. Get everything in writing in order to avoid "but you said thus and thus" later.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked in the retail environment behind the counter selling cameras. I have taken some photography classes in community college, I have studied on my own, and I have an artistic ability to capture on digital media things that a lot of people might not think twice about what they saw.

How did you get started in this business?
I was working in a mid size retail store in high school, I was promoted from stock clerk to a sales clerk in the camera department. It did not take long to fall in love with photography. I have been intrested in photography ever since. Now that my wife and I are retired, I decided to start up a small business as a professional photographer.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a real estate agent photographing the house for her to list. I have done a large family shoot with the grand parents and their children and grand children. I just finished a shoot with a young man who wanted some professional pictures for a specific need of his.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love shooting pictures, I'm very fond of the photo shoot that I just finished with the young man that I mentioned above. We did an outdoor shoot in dress and casual clothes. We went to a large park, which is ideal, due to the variety of settings that are available for a senior shoot. I'm excited about the potential that I see in that park, I think both senior boys and girls would love to have a shoot done there. I'm very interested in implementing senior pictures as part of my business.
