How did you get started in this business?
I was asked to photograph a wedding at the age of 15. I did it and have not looked back since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Everything! I have done it all. Nothing suprises me and there is nothing that I cannot do with a camera.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was hired to go photograph a dozen resorts in Cancun Mexico. NOW that was a fun job!!!!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Note how long they have been in business and if you can watch them do a session, take note of how many images of each pose they take. If the photographer is worth hiring, they will take only 1 image because they will KNOW it's perfect long before the shutter is ever clicked. While a photograph will probably do more than just one image in an outfit, the good ones will not spend forever taking hundreds of image of the same thing over and over and over.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do they rent there location or do they own it? If they own it, you will end up with a better product at a better price!
How long have they been in business? Experience counts when you are counting on great photography.
Do they use just average amature equipement or do they have the very best cameras and lighting on the market today?
