I'm an independent hairstylist at Empower Beauty Co., one of my best friends is the owner. We've worked together over the years. I've been a hairstylist for 33 years. We strive to Empower everyone that comes into the salon or anyone we travel to. We are truly passionate about making people look good and feel good about themselves. We are a Green Circle Certified salon, that means we recycle 95% of our waste, from hair clippings to foils to color tubes etc. We use Ecoheads at our sinks to help eliminate 100% of what comes out of the water.
I specialize in balayage & ombré coloring, multi dimensional foiling and fantasy color.
I offer bridal hair and prom hair.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once first contact is made, I'll find out the services the guest is looking for as well as their budget. If we decide to work together, I'll schedule the appointment.
I'll usually ask the guest to find some inspirational photos for the looks they're trying to achieve. On the day of their appointment we will have another in person consultation where I can access the hair and scalp to come up with a customized appointment to achieve the desired results the guest is looking for.

I am a graduate Class of 1988 at Melrose Beauty Academy.

Certified in Keratin Complex Keratin Smoothing treatment
I was an in salon educator for Hair Excitement Salons for 9 years.
I have been an in salon educator for 4 years with Wella color
I've done platform work with Main stage artists from Wella
I've taken numerous classes for updos and styling techniques
I've taken numerous hair cutting, Balayage & Ombré technique classes
Education is always ongoing for me. It's extremely important in this industry.
