About
Hi! See recent reviews for RGKkitchen on Google or on www.rgkkitchen.com We're unable to update things to the most recent events here so please check out Google or instagram @rgkkitchen Thank you!
We are a husband and wife team! The one who loves to eat all the things and the one who loves to cook everything.
In 2020 we started RGKkitchen. Working together came so naturally and quickly took off. We love to utilize local vineyards, local breweries, off the dock seafood on the Cape, meats from Lilac Hedge Farm, as well as any local produce we can get our hands on. We frequent Sweet Berry Farm and Nourse Farm all through the summer for fruit picking dates.
We offer private chef services for a custom in home experience for birthdays, anniversaries, family vacations, bachelorette parties, etc. We also off event catering for larger parties like showers, weddings, and any other large party. Currently we go up to about 125 guests. Private homes and airbnb/vrbo rentals are our niche locations.
Our most popular service area are Cape Cod, Boston, Newport, Middletown, and Narragansett. We service all of Rhode Island, the entire coast of Massachusetts, and down to Mystic, Connecticut. We typically travel within 100 miles of 02748 but do go further for some events. Just ask us! We're happy to accommodate if we are able to!
Stephen also serves as a legal officiant for weddings. We also have kettle bell classes available for retreats and bachelorette parties and tarot readings for all kinds of events.
Most events you'll get both of us! During busy seasons it may be just one of us as we split up our team led by Rae or Stephen. No matter who you have it will be perfect!

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been baking/cooking since I could hold a rolling pin as a toddler. I learned to cook at Le Cordon Bleu. Growing up my father and grandmother taught me all they knew as well.
I am professionally trained and working professionally for 11 years. I've spent time in country clubs, fine dining, corporate accounts, catering and most recently in cannabis dispensary kitchens.
How did you get started in this business?
I've worked in catering for many years but took a brief break to work in some cannabis kitchens. When we entered the pandemic I made my way back into catering. My husband and I run this together now. Went from smaller home events to large extravagent weddings. It's been incredibly rewarding.
What types of customers have you worked with?
-Small families/big families
-Small intimate weddings
-Large tradititonal weddings
-Groups of friends
-Business associates
-Many, many, many bachelorette groups
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a group of third graders for a "taste the world party". I took the girls through a fun menu where they learned how to make each dish and got to eat it afterwards. For one dish I had my torch with me so I could brulee some brie. The girls asked if that was a torch. When I said yes and turned it on they all screamed. Took a few minutes to get them wrangled again and show them it wasn't going to burn the place down. The mom and I had a really good laugh about it.
