I have a creative-documentary style that is tailored to each clients individual needs and energy, because every photo shares a different story. I use natural light as well has studio lighting, depending on the needs of the client and their vision. I like to keep things very relaxed and approachable for even the most camera shy clients.
I love what I do because I love working with people and watching them decant through a session. I truly strive to capture the most beautiful candid moments as well as bringing out the true essence of a couple, an individual or a group, etc.

I have hired Sam twice - the first time was to capture candid photos of me working in my studio for press and media content, and then I called her again when I needed my family’s portrait taken. I was so blown away with what she created for me the first time that I knew there was no question who I wanted for the next! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As soon as a potential customer contacts me I like to schedule a consultation via zoom or phone call at no charge to be able to discuss more about the event or vision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started taking photography in high school over 15 years ago. Since then I have 10 plus years of real life experience working with other photographers, taking workshops and my working my own.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For weddings my pricing starts at 2500 depending on the size, location and requests. For portrait and other jobs by the hour my rates start at 275.
How did you get started in this business?
Honestly, I was that nerdy freshman in high school who found comfort in the dark room and the audio visual labs. From there my a passion and skill for this trade transpired and I’ve been doing it ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with musicians, magazines, to local mom and pop shops to the most camera shy humans ever ! But turned out they weren’t so shy after all :)
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I think what’s most important is to make sure you find a photographer who is the right fit and that you feel comfortable with. That’s why I always schedule a consult with who ever I’m working with to make sure I’m the right fit for them and vice versa. If I’m not I try to direct them to some photographers in the area who I know that would be more suited for the vision.
