The types of shoots I enjoy the most are creative, purpose-driven projects that blur the lines between art and storytelling.
It’s nice knowing that my creative vision and approach can be used in a variety of ways to help others achieve their goals.
What I love most about my job as a photographer and visual artist is being able to take imaginative concepts and turn them into realities.
Of course, the picture is only a single snapshot of a moment in time, but these moments serve a greater purpose.
They inspire, tell stories, convey emotions, and more.
As I mentioned in my philosophy of photography all perspectives on the art form are subjective to the individual.
Being able to connect and understand the perspectives of those who commission, admire, or notice my art is what keeps me passionate about my job

How did you get started in this business?
My story starts in 2007. That summer, I was fourteen years old and working as operational staff at an overnight summer camp for Greater Boston-area youth. I got started with mobile photography, shooting pictures from my cell phone & to put things into perspective the original iPhone was released on June 29th that year. I, unfortunately, was not one of the early adopters of the iPhone; I had another smartphone at the time called the Samsung Eclipse 2. This phone had a 5MP back camera & a 2MP front camera; compared to modern devices this phone was about 5x less powerful than an iPhone 13 Pro.
With this seemingly ‘primitive’ tool, I learned the fundamentals of photography. It wasn’t long after that one of my mentors gifted me a Nikon D3000, my first DSLR camera & I used that equipment to learn even more about photography, editing, the art business, and more. That gesture alone set me on the career path that I’m still walking to this day.
