After roughly 20 years in marketing and advertising I think the best part of running my own studio is meeting and impressing new clients. Looking at a business for the first time and figuring out how to boost their visuals (and credibility with their audience or customers) is a challenge that lets me stretch my creativity and come up with solutions that exceed expectations.
At the end of the day photography (like all things marketing) is about results. The most important is of course the long win - watching my photography attract new customers to do business with my clients, and watching their sales and reputation increase directly because of my work - that has to be the true measure of success.
