What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process of working with a new customer is finding out something about their personality and job and what type of hairstyle would be best for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to cosmetology school in 1997,I received my certification in 2000 and several years later I returned back to State Board of Cosmetology to get a Senoir Cosmetology license.
My career has consisted of 18 years in a hair salon and 10 years Entrepreneurship.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes,I have a starting price of basic styles and additional fees for density and extra length of hair;There are also à la cart services.
How did you get started in this business?
At the age of 13 I begin doing hair in my neighborhood for friends and then a group of people who patronized to me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked for teachers nurses and social workers and such like.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One event that stands out at this moment is Last weekend I was invited to a nice hotel downtown Baltimore for people in the wedding party
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would advise a customer to be open to the ideas that professional cosmetologist have about promoting style.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
A customer should think about is 1(what they’re expecting and 2)what they will allow someone else to do for them for their hair and 3)how much they are willing to pay for that?
