Kira Jasmine

I’m Kira Jasmine, and I’m ready to help you in your hair journey. I grew up in a family where the girls were in numbers. I watched my mom and aunts do their own hair and sometimes each other’s for all the events and outings. I knew at 7, hair was my calling. I started to pay close attention and experiment on myself. I learned what worked for my mom or aunts wasn’t always what would work for me. So, I used trial and error to figure it out for all of us. Having a hand in increasing their confidence with hair styles fueled me to keep going. By 15 I was making wigs and doing sew-ins. Once I found confidence in doing hair, I started to learn makeup. I wanted to know everything there was to know about making women look and feel beautiful. I wanted to help anyone who needed to see their own beauty. I was determined to make it happen. I attended Aveda Institute for Cosmetology in Tallahassee, Florida and obtained my license in 2017. During my time in Florida, I had the chance to use my skills doing hair and make-up for a few local fashion shows and was even published in Tallahassee Magazine for my work. I knew then that the love I had for the industry would be forever. Since the fashion shows I’ve done hair and make up for a few weddings, slaying the entire wedding party. I’ve even had some fun with special effects make up which helped me reach new heights in the MUA world. I’m working to create a brand that will both work for and educate you. I am the stylist that will help you recreate the look you want while keeping the health of your skin and hair at the forefront of the process.
