Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Discussion to determine the customers needs
2. Determine whether it is possible to provide the requested service. (We are not a master of everything and prefer our customers to leave happy with our service instead of trying to get every customer who comes through!)
3. Schedule the service
4. Plan an on site visit before the event if needed to confirm setup positions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our photographer attended the Baltimore School for the Arts. He is trained is most forms of photography as well as in fine arts.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
HandDrawn Fine Art Portraits Offered in Graphite Pencil Only and Charcoal starting at $275
Photography per hour $150.00
If you have a special request, run it by us and we'll let you know if we can help!
How did you get started in this business?
A strong desire to work for myself and do the things I truly enjoy doing!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have provided our services to normal people for weddings and random photo shoots, businesses for marketing, as well as events at conventions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk to them while you look at their portfolio. Not every person does their art the same way. Find someone who you can get along with and you think can earn your trust. Trust after all is the greatest currency to us who do the art. If you cant trust us then why would you come back to us later?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. How long you need them.
2. What kind of services you want provided. (While events like weddings tend to have a set cost, different types of photography can vary greatly and you want to know what you NEED before talking to a pro whose job is to sell you more.)
