I am passionate about working with businesses of all sizes as well as capturing special moments with my portraiture. In 2019 I added videography to my services and have grown to love offering this to my clients as well.
I have been working in this industry since 2007. I have a masters degree in Photography and a minor in Communications.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss scope of project, select date and time, discuss what is included in the package and what can be expected the day of the shoot and after. For portraiture clients I like to discuss likes and dislikes during a session to determine if the need more posing or if their style is more natural and candid.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Photography and I have been in business for 14 years total.
How did you get started in this business?
I knew when I was 14 years old I wanted to be a photographer so I began taking classes in Hugh school. I went to grand Valley State University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Photography with a communications emphasis. Upon graduating in 2007 I immediately opened my portrait studio and began doing portraiture, event photography, wedding photography, and business photography for the greater Grand Rapids area.
