Hi! I am Mandy! Thanks for checking out my work! I live in the Grand Rapids/West Michigan area and would so love to hear from you! Here is the question though-what sets me apart from the rest of the photographers out there? Well, I want my clients to be comfortable being themselves & to allow the opportunity for the art of photography to capture their essence at that moment in time. No awkward posing or stiff, rigid smiles. My goal as a photographer is to help you feel at ease from our first interaction; I want you to have a pleasant & happy experience & hope to work with you time & again capturing life’s moments! I am amazed at how each moment passes so quickly & it is my passion to make these moments matter & make them lasting! I want you to be comfortable, confident & happy in every step of the process.
Engaged? Congratulations! This is my ninth season as a photographer & each one gets more exciting! I have loads of experience-I have photographed around 100 weddings, my assistant is the Mother Whisperer, I love all aspects of a wedding day-from photographing the gorgeous details to the emotion of a first look to the uniqueness of the ceremony to the joy of the bridal party & couple photos to the beauty and enjoyment of the reception! I LOVE weddings. Not only do I love weddings, I also have varied experience in about every lighting situation, timeline snag, unexpected thing you can think of. My calm, rational, organized and professional response will leave you at ease in whatever circumstance. You are in good hands from start to finish-believe it or not, I also enjoy helping with timeline planning, helping you find other trustworthy vendors, any wedding day advice (none that is unsolicited) and just really anything that has to do with making your day all that you have dreamt, planned and worked for it to be. Then once your day has arrived, my job is to put you at ease, help you relax and enjoy the day you worked so hard for and capture authentic joy, true moments and the beauty that you will always remember as your wedding day. A little about me personally:I started dating my hubby when I was 13, we have been married for almost 15 years, we have two amazing kiddoes (see those cute faces above), & aside from my family & photography, my passions are hospitality, hosting, cooking, exploring/traveling & Jesus. I super love my job. It is amazing and precious to think about the fact that people trust me and choose me to capture these moments that are so sacred and beautiful to them. It is with that care and commitment that I will capture those photographs for you...moments to look back on and remember the day and the time exactly as it happened-in a beautiful, carefree, natural, yet detailed, dedicated and professional way.
