I always do what I can to make sure my customers are comfortable and having fun during their session. I have a strong belief that if you aren't having fun, we aren't a good match. I enjoy helping my clients reflect their personality within their images to make sure we capture the absolute best side of you and/or your family.

I have had a passion for photography since I was a kid. I always borrowed my mother's camera and would be out snapping photos of whatever I could. I continue my hobby work but was drawn to making others look and feel their best and capturing the memories or moments that we want to be with us forever. I have been in business for 3 years in my own but was also a partner with another company for 3 years before going out on my own. I love being a photographer and I'd love to be YOUR photographer!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For each session I like to schedule a quick call to learn more about you and your vision, and to tell you about me. The next step is in-person visit so we can get further acclimated and discuss your project. This helps to make you feel more comfortable with me and ensure that I'm a good fit for you. During your consultation we determine a day, time and location for your session and work out all the details to make it 100% yours. I am always available for questions or concerns leading up to your session and can help with outfit choices, hair or make up options and prop ideas!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken several classes regarding photography covering everything from basic camera work to editing to composition and posing. I am currently working toward my photography certification with the New York Institute of Photography.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My portrait and family session creation fee is $185. Senior sessions start at $245. All artwork is a la carte and reviewed during your consultation.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been a lover of photography for as long as I can remember. Even as a kid I would borrow my mother's camera and take pictures of anything and everything! As I got older I found I had a true passion for it and despite starting out as just a hobbyist discovered that I love making people feel and look like a version of their best selves and capture the memories that will last us a lifetime.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of customers from children to the eldery, from a variety of ethnicities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently participated in a Boudoir model call held by another photographer and I don't think I've had so much fun during a session as this one. Multiple models, multiple photographers and make up artists coming together to collaborate and work together to grow their businesses. I loved the sense of community and empowerment created by all of these amazingly talented women.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions both about your session and about your photographer! I have always been a firm believer that you must get along with your photographer, if you don't the strain in the relationship will show up in your images. So take the time (if you have it) to have a chat before booking just so you can get to know each other.
