I believe in giving you a great experience when you visit my salon. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe in a thorough consultation. This allows me to create the perfect image for you. Customized color, the perfect hair shape, and style to suit your face shape, and skin tone that will turn some heads! The result that I ultmately want is for you, is to love your new look, and have a smile on your face. Hair is important!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dressing hair for 27 years. I am very passinate about being fashion forward. I don't follow the trends, I set them.
I have attended specialized training with some of the top hair artists in the world.

The advanced training, and education I have done is too long to list here. I believe in always continuing to learn, as this provides me with a full arsenal of techniques to provide you with the very best outcome.
My approach to hair dressing is European hair color and hairshaping. Most fashion trends are launched in Paris and London, but take years to reach the midwest.

How did you get started in this business?
I knew from the age of 5 yrs old I would become a hair artist. I lived in a neighborhood of 15 boys. My Mom bought me a pink barbershop chair at a garage sale. I set up shop in our porch, and had very busy summers doing their hair.
As soon as I graduated highschool I attended the Minnesota Cosmetology school in Minneapolis and the rest they say..... is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers young to old.
Professinals, celebrities, runway models, Ms. Minnesota, who I traveled with for a period of 5 years.
My customer list is not limited, if you are in my chair, I will do your hair!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love doing wedding hair! I recently provided special occasion hair for one of my clients, who's hair I have been doing since she was a baby. Very special to be able to have provided her all of her greatest looks, up to one of the most important days in her life! Hair is just that... important.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Determine first of all what you want. RESEARCH is key in finding the stylist that will define your image. The relationship you have with your stylist runs deep. Find the perfect match! I am a great listener, this is the key to my success.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Find a reasonable photo of what you want. When I say resonable, think of your hair type, is it fine, thick, curly ect.
seek a photo the you love that closely resembles your hair.
This will allow me to get the exact result you are looking for.
I love when a new client comes in and says, " What do YOU think would look great on me?" This allows me the artist, to have creative freedom to transform your new look.
