I LOVE STORIES. Everyone has one. As a photographer, it is my passion to bring those stories to life by illustrating your story through the power of the still image. When I pick up my camera, my goal is simple; shoot what feels genuine and sincere. Perhaps it’s the perfect moment a mother has with her baby, or a teen has on their senior photo shoot when they realize just how cool they really are, or a couple has on their wedding day when they forget I’m even standing there and share a heartfelt glance. Those magical moments are what energize me and make me love this art form that is professional photography.

I’ve loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember. In fact, our family were big into taking pictures, starting with my dad, who was always snapping shots of the family. I got my first camera when I was 8 or 9; it was a Kodak 110, complete with a couple 24 exposure rolls of film and a cool double-ended flash cube. I snapped pictures of my family (dog and cat included) doing every day things, was the official photo journalist on our family vacations, and even got pinched by my grandma for sneaking pictures of her doing her “grandma things” like baking bread or weeding the garden. I have always been a storyteller and find great joy looking at old pictures and remembering the sights and sounds and emotions from those days gone by. That my friends is the power of a photograph.
