What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A consultation to figure out what they are trying to accomplish with their hair. I will let them know whether it will work or not and give my opinion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated hair school 17 years ago and just try to stay current with styles and colors that are popular.

How did you get started in this business?
I worked as a salon assistant manager and saw how much fun the stylists had with their clients and got to make money while doing it so I went to hair school.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All customers. My favorite thing to do is highlights so that is preferred.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I went to the mayors tree lighting ceremony in Lee's Summit that was a ton of fun!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Pictures pictures pictures, but make sure they are your hair type. We aren't magicians we are beauticians!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Definitely looking at pictures of similar hair type helps.
