    Frequently asked questions

After our first contact with a customer usually by email, I like to set up a short meet & greet either in person, coffee shop, etc.., or a facetime or skype call. These are great as we can each meet each other and put a face to a name.

Questions and event discussions not only go a lot faster but also are more thorough when in person. I will answer ALL questions and go through your shoot or wedding timeline step by step.

I have been shooting professionally for 12 years and have had a mentor or two and a lot of hard work to get to where I am today.

I do not have a standard pricing system as I customize each photoshoot or wedding to the client's wants and needs. Every shoot is different and has different variables.

I got started shooting my son playing college baseball. I use to post the photos in a gallery and allow all the parents to view them for free as so many parents couldn't attend too many games. After a while, they started asking about purchasing photos and it snowballed from there!

The most recent event I'm fond of was a powerlifting meet. An all-day event watching athletes lift tons of weight. I love the emotion the lifters emit during their lifts. Such dedication! I believe I took 2500 photos that day.

The advice I would give anyone that is looking to hire a photographer would be to first like the work the photographer does in relationship to your needs. Don't hire a photographer for sports because you like their wedding photography. It doesn't always translate. Have a budget, but don't expect the most for the least, you will not be happy.

Before contacting a photographer know what format you want the photos in, digital, prints etc.. Know an approximate date for the shoot as we photographers have a tight schedule and it only wastes your time if, in the end, the date isn't available.

If it's a wedding know how many hours you will need a photographer or if your not sure make that a question early as most weddings are quoted for the amount of time needed.
