What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After first contact with the customer we will set a time to meet or talk over the phone to find out what the customers needs are. We will discussion the shoot in detail ie location, dress, mood, how long, how many shots will be taken, does the customer wnat any retouch work, how long it takes to get the images back.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years experience. I have been running my studio for over 10 years. We lots of environmental portraits. I was trained in the US Navy as a combat photographer, we shot everything from Jet fighters to presidents.
How did you get started in this business?
I started when I was ion The Navy as a Comabt Photographer. After my tour was over I started my own studio.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many times of customers ranging from actors to small business owners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This past year I shot for a smal concert that helps Disable veterans get back on thier feet. Songs 4 Soldiers concert.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions, make sure you and the photograher are on the same page. do not assume.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What type of Photography are you wanting, How many photos do you need, prints or digital, what is your deadline, where will you be using these photos, how often will these need to be updated.
