About
Service with compassion, kindness and understanding is first. I absolutely love what I do and strongly feel that when you want to get your pictures taken or an event covered, you should also end up with a fun and memorable experience. So if you're looking for a photographer who takes great pictures and is very fun to work with that's also affordable, send us a message. We"d love to work with you and capture those memories.
I enjoy being able to have a positive affect on those that I work with. I try to go above and beyond for others, also being innovative and creative allows me to be very flexible and helpful with different clients and their visions. The best part I enjoy, is working with the people I do, the brides, the families, the kids I have seen grow up and becoming adults. Its the interactions & not just capturing their moments, but helping to create moments and truly giving an experience rather than just a couple pictures.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the quote is given (which incudes information on two choices and pricing), I will occassionally follow up. In order to be hired, I just ask for the email address, all important event/session information needed and then send a contract along with instructions for paying both deposit and final payment. I do require a non-refundable deposit that ranges from $20-$100, depending on job.
I would love to get brides that want to work closer with me ahead of the big day to make sure I know exactly what her vision is and work together to make it the best experience ever. I am, however, also used to just meeting everyone the day of and everything still works out fine. Just the more prep time able to be given, the better the results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an AAS and BS degrees. I spent 4yrs doing broadcast journalism throughout high school. I have too many years (w/o telling my age) of customer service and sales experience. Photography has always been a hobby and dream and I feel I take after both my grandpa and dad. My dad had his own production business for years and I learned allot along the way. I am still learning and will always be, best way is through constructive criticism which I am always open to in a respectful way. Still learning the tricks of the trade as I go along with the technology involved with the editing process. I am an open book, believe in transparency and will answer whatever questions you may have.

How did you get started in this business?
Photography has always been my passion. A way to show everyone else the beauty I see in the world through my lens. It has also always been a dream, just a dream I never thought it could truly happen or be successful with. I started simply because I was tired of the low wage jobs that were available and with my kids being older, a friend pushed me to follow a dream and passion. I figured, the worse thing that could happen is that I fail and get to meet some awesome people along the way. Here it is, just yrs later and during a pandemic and I am still working. Not as much as before Covid19, but still blessed to be getting by. I look forward to all of the future customers/clients/friends I will get to meet along the way and truly hope I will continue to be blessed enough to still be doing this for years to come.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Know what you want, have a vision, have a budget and be forthcoming with that information to get the best service possible. Also, look at their work, ask to see an entire album of a recent event they did. I will be the first to say, not every picture I deliver is the best of the best, which is why most photographers don't give out all of the images. I choose to give all of the images because every photo session or event I do, there are memories created and moments that happen that aren't planned and can be candidly caught so I would rather give all of the images since those moments caught may not be the perfect pictures, so at least my customers have those memories and moments. After all, pictures are a fantastic way to tell a story or relive a day/event.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If its for an event, key things we need from you are location, date needed, how many hours, possibly your budget and what you really want and care about to be included (prints, album, session, flash drive, etc). These are the basic things to have in order before price shopping or even asking for a quote. Then before hiring, check their work, talk to them on the phone to see if you even like the person. Ask about the process, from booking to payments, what to expect, what is the image turn around time, how you get your images and please, share your concerns. The only dumb questions are the ones we don't ask. And if the pro you are talking to doesn't like all the questions, they aren't the one for you.
