What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we have a conversation to understand what the customer is looking for and how we can help make their event the best it can be.
Secondly, we provide a quote of food and services requested
Thridly, after customer and catering manager have agreed on all terms, a contract is drawn up. Customer is then asked to pay a 10% deposit to secure our services.
Finally, final numbers of guests and 1/2 of the balance is due 7 days prior to the event and the final payment is due on the day of the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner, Kim Riggins, trained at the Art Insitute of Charlotte an the Central Piedmont Community College. She has been cooking professionally since 2012. She has managed several kitchens and worked with several other catering companies.

How did you get started in this business?
Kim has always enjoyed cooking and decided to learn how to cook professionally. she wanted to share her love and food with others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all sizes of groups - from an anniverary meal for 2 to a wedding reception for 200.

We at Simply Southern Celebrations, get overjoyed when customers rave about the food which is just about everytime. We work really hard to nail it - each and every day!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they put your needs first - whether they are dietary needs, or time of service, etc. You need to be happy and satisfied.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What kind of atmosphere do you want for you event - that will help determine what kind of foode to serve.
