What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with potential clients in person so I can get a sense of what they want for their wedding or event. We also have consultation sheets for them to fill out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified wedding and event planner, and I can also officiate weddings.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My wedding officiant services fee starts at $90, for time and services. I am located in Hickory, NC. If I have to travel outside of Hickory, NC, my fee is $120 and up. For wedding planning, my fee starts at $1000 and up; for wedding coordination, my fee is $800 and up. These fees are essentially the same for event planning.
How did you get started in this business?
I started my business in 1998 after a fellow church member saw my decorations for our pastor. She asked me to do her wedding, so I've been at it ever since.
