Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I spend a lot of time talking about exactly what their needs are. I do not like to oversell people, but by the same token I know that if they have the correct amount of food the party will be successful. I pay special attention to finding out exactly who their guests are, if there are any dietary restrictions, and for how long they need my services
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although I am not a classically trained chef, I grew up in an Italian family with a curiosity for all things food. My parents are from L'Aquila which is in the province of Abruzzo. Both of them had different cooking styles and I draw from each of them to bring a unique style to my cooking.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All of my menu items are available by half pan or full pan. This gives the customer the flexibility that they may need. Ordering by the full pan or by half pan is by far the least expensive way to cater a party. However, I do offer full hot and cold packages for all occasions
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers of all nationalities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently catered a clambake which had gigantic Alaskan King crab legs, along with all the standard things you would find in a crab bake… Potatoes, clams, muscles, corn. It was a great success and everybody loved it
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure that they pay attention to details because details matter and can make or break a party
