When I was in middle school, I was always fascinated with makeup. I wasn't great at doing it, and at the time I was, and still am battling with depression, so makeup is my safe haven.  I started to get better as I got out of high school, watching videos on Instagram & hoping that one day I could recreate those looks. As time progressed I got better doing my own makeup, with my eye makeup being my highlight, and I build a passion to do other people's makeup. I started small, working on friends and family and then I was invited to do someone's makeup for a photo shoot and it took off from there. I started esthetics school when I realized that I want to know the history behind makeup and skin in general. I was blessed and privileged to be granted my esthetician license and I am truly appreciated by how far I have come.

Before getting into makeup, I have a work history of retail. While retail does have its ups and downs, it did teach me, in my own words, the psychology of a "satisfied customer." How to treat a client, how to ask open ended questions to engage yourself in getting to know them more to better assist them. Also to find trigger points that you can help avoid offering something that doesn't entice them. The customers I've dealt with in my life have mainly been middle to upper class individuals with a "busy" schedule, looking to get what's new and in style. I have also had those who endure a more humble side to them, which makes them more inclined for conversation and assistance. I also have dealt with the ones who may be going through something before they walked through the place I'm working for and give off negative energy and "standoff-ish" vibes. I honestly have welcomed them all with the same attitude and gratitude like I did with the last person.
