Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are consistently going to workshops, training events and reading everything out there! We try our best to stay up to date on the latest and greatest gear, styles and products so that we can offer the highest quality in everything that we do.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We ask that you please visit our website and fill out the questionnaire. From there, we will provide you with our pricing guides depending on your event!
How did you get started in this business?
We have both been long time lovers of the arts and when we started dating, we found joy in doing it together. We had our own wedding in August 2015 and learned so much about what we would and wouldn't do.
We were asked to shoot a wedding for some dear friends and it snowballed from there!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with every kind of client!! From the overthinker to the laid back, we have met them and loved them.
Each client is different and that's one of the things we love most. Meeting and creating with unique individuals is when you have the most fun!
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
We have three pieces of advice that we think couples should live by while planning their wedding.
1. Do your research!!! Don't just book with someone because your best friend did. Find people who fit your style, needs and budget!
2. Don't skimp on funds for your photography and videography! These are going to be the best photos of your life and the video is something that you can watch over and over to relive your day.
3. NEVER hire a family friend! We have seen this end poorly in so many ways and it's heartbreaking. Unless that family friend is an actual professional in the industry, they should just be a guest. There is so much more to photography and videography. We don't JUST take photos and videos, we also store them for years, back everything up in multiple places, have the correct editing software and high-quality equipment!
What questions should customers think through before talking to vendors about their needs?
Think about what is most important for you and make a list from highest to lowest priorities. Then, when you start planning, start with the big, important stuff first!
