In 2010 I was laid off from my position with a very reputable banking institution. It took me almost 2 years to find another position. I will never doubt anyone who is diligently looking for work who is unable to find a position.
During that time I decided that I needed to do something that would take my mind off of the hardship I was facing. And it was hard, I mean hard! Single parent, taking care of 2 kids!
Long story short, since my son loved to play football and my daughter loved to take pictures, I thought it would be cool if I started taking her pictures and making videos of his games. Plus It would take some of the stress away that I was feeling.
So, I was able to get a low end camera and started taking photos and creating his videos. I had a new mission! After a while I decided that the low end camera I was using needed an upgrade, so I did my research, went to the credit union, applied for a small loan to purchase some new equipment. They approved me and voila! I WAS ON MY WAY!
I have since expanded my mission by sharing my talents with others, taking special occasions photos, conferences, vendor events, sports events, birthday parties and industrial photos.
My dream is to one day see some of my photos line the halls of someones business or make it to a billboard for the WORLD to see.
That said, let me share my passion with you by creating some of your most precious memories. Allowing you to see what I see when I look through the lens of my camera.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After my initial contact with a client, I like to either speak via the phone or meet in person to discuss their needs. In addtion to that it gives me a feel for their personality.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have never been formally trained. However, I have taken several online trainings, learning about types of poses, lighting and camera operation settings. Intermediate and Advanced trainings.

I have worked with couples, families, graduates, individuals, teenagers, professionals and models.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Most recently I did a shoot for a recent Masters Grad. Her results were amazing and much more than she had anticipated. it made me feel good knowing that her shoot was more than what she had anticpated.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would say, ask a whole lot of questions.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They must first have an idea of what they are looking to accomplish, what they want.
