ION STUDIO NYC was founded by distinguished editorial hairstylists, Marco Santini and Leonardo Manetti. Mentoring in one of the world’s oldest trades has allowed our carefully selected staff to provide unparalleled hair care coupled with paramount customer service. We are well versed in all hair types and textures.
100% of the energy we use is renewable and green. We recycle everything from paper and plastics to color by-product, metals, and even hair. As the Davines Flagship salon, we are exclusively affiliated with Davines Hair Care Products, as we hold similar eco-friendly philosophies. Personalized, highly effective hair care, while maintaining responsible use of products in our environment, means the world to us.
As masters of our craft, and through the people we service, ION STUDIO NYC is quietly creating the new Renaissance for fashion and hair. ION STUDIO NYC is one of very few sustainable hair salons in the world, and the only one to date in NYC. Simply put, the environment in which we live, and how we take care of it, is a priority for us.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In order to find the right stylist for each client, we ascertain what hair services our new clients are interested in, and what kind of look they would like to achieve. We pair the client with a stylist or colorist who will perform a complimentary comprehensive consultation prior to the service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our stylists and colorists have years of experience from varied backgrounds. They have experience working on editorials, celebrities, fashion shows for top designers and more.
