Founded in 2016, Salon Marcé specializes in a wide range of services including but not limited to: Precision Cuts, Vibrant Color, Highlights, Balayage Highlights, Ombre Hair Color, Bridal and Formal Hairstyling, Hair Extensions, Waxing, and Makeup.
There is nothing corporate about Salon Marcé. A local business with four service stations, our mission is to provide our guests with the best possible experience and make them feel as comfortable and special as possible. Above all, we are dedicated to the ultimate in artistry to ensure our guests leave looking and feeling their very best.
The name of our salon reflects our passion and reverence for the rich history in the craft of hairdressing. In the 19th century, Parisian hairdresser François Marcel revolutionized hair styling with the invention of the heated curling iron. The “Marcel Wave” was a hairstyle popularized in the 1920’s. This salon is about more than simply styling hair. It is an expression of the passion we hope to share with the Rochester community for years to come.

The typical process involves a 15 minute consultation session to go over goals for your hair, any issues you may be experiencing and to describe a recommended course of action and set expectations for results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each stylist at Salon Marcé has been trained and is re-trained every year in specific aspects of the salon industry. We are constantly seeking out new educational experiences, techniques, technologies and products that will continue to motivate our team and guests. Our educational experiences have sent us to New York City, Toronto, Miami Florida, Barcelona and soon to Vienna Austria.
